Mediterranean Rose Hair Cream

I've been planning to put together a hair cream for myself for some time and today I finally got around to it. I decided to combine the things I already use in my hair. I can't seem to find a suitable product for moisturizing my hair here, so here's what I did. I love the results of the cream. It makes my hair feel soft and manageable.

Ingredients:

8 oz Shea Butter
1 tbsp Vatika coconut oil
1 tbsp 100 % Sesame seed oil
1 tbsp castor oil (for hair)
1 tbsp Fresh Rosemary

Simply blend all ingredients together with a mixer until creamy and well blended.

Why I chose these ingredients?

I normally use shea butter to softened my hair. My hair is coarse and some what unmanageable and shea butter usually helps me get the comb through ;p. Coconut oil softens and shines. Sesame seed also helps with shine and is used as a natural sun screen. I love castor oil. The edges of my hair were falling out so I used castor oil and alhamdulillah the hair came back. I also noticed my hair thickened after using it. I added the rosemary for appearance only, but I hear it's good for hair.

Baked French Toast

Okay it's been a while, blame my schedule not me :). So lately I've been using this amazing recipe book "The Eleven Year Collection" by Sally Hassan. It's an amazing book, but I realized in the breakfast section there was no recipe for her baked French Toast. Because of the time difference I didn't expect for her to be on Facebook sooooooo, I came up with my own recipe and it goes a little something like this:

Ingredients:
6 Eggs

7-8 cups French bread or Feno chopped

1/3 cup Sugar

1/2 tbsp molasses
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/3 cup milk

Pre-heat over to 375 degrees F

6 eggs

French bread or Feno chopped

Mix sugar and molasses to make brown sugar
(sorry I forgot to take a picture, but stir until it is brown
and well mixed)

Vanilla extract and Cinnamon

Milk

Beat eggs in a bowl

Add brown sugar (molasses & sugar) mix well

Add cinnamon and vanilla extract

Add milk

Egg mix and Bread (I used feno)

melt butter in a pan and make sure butter is around
the entire pan so your bread won't stick and for flavor

mix bread with egg mix

place it in your pan

bake approx 20 min bottom should be brown,
do not overcook

Serve with my homemade syrup or the syrup of your liking

ENJOY!!!
