My name is Amaal and I am currently living in Egypt (Misr). I've lived here almost 3 years. Upon arrival, one of the first things I noticed was the difference in food. Take-Out is easy because you have a variety of restaurants to choose from, but when it comes to a home-cooked meal, things get a little tricky. Especially if you don't speak the Arabic language. The first year was rough but I lost lots of weight :).I'm learning how to substitute and simply MAKE IT IN MISR!!!
As salaamu alaikum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu, Maa shaa Allah...the end result looks delish. Your video had me smiling and laughing. It reminds me of my first time gutting and cleaning mystery fish in Misr. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWalaikum as salaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh, lol I hope you didn't watch the entire 20 min. I posted this video by accident b/c it is soooooooooo long :/. I'm glad you enjoyed and it really was good, though I really don't enjoy gutting fish but it taste much better than the fish in the frozen section at Fathallah :)
